LAMBA BREWER´S YEAST
INACTIVE POWDERED YEAST |
|
What is Lamba Brewer´s Yeast?
Lamba Brewer Yeast is an inactive powdered yeast, obtained from the dehydration of liquid yeast broth, coming from the fermentation process of the brewing industry. The Sacharomyces Cerevisae microorganism used in this process is free of any additive or preservative substance.
The raw material originated in the brewing plants, keeps the yeast suspension free of contaminating agents, with a PH less than 6 and an alcohol content greater than 4% thus reducing the risk of presence of pathogenic microorganisms and their toxins prior to the drying process.
In Lamba Brewer Yeast the high drying temperature in the Torre Spray helps to eliminate any risk of microbial contamination, ensuring a product of excellent quality. Cross contamination is avoided due to finished material flow processes.
Lamba Brewer Yeast is a free flowing product, high protein value and natural source of the vitamin B complex.
Its manufacturing process ensures the maintenance of its biological value and the palatability of the product.
Benefits in Diets
Lamba Brewer Yeast is a highly digestible non-animal protein that stimulates the intestinal flora. Widely used in pet food for its contribution to the palatability of extruded dog and cat food.
Lamba Brewer Yeast can also be used in ruminant feeds as an ingredient in dairy replacers.
On the other hand, it is an excellent alternative for producers of pollen substitutes in apiculture, as a raw material with attractive properties in the preparation of toxic tallows, as an ingredient in culture medium for the multiplication of insectaries.
