Zeolitec is a non-nutritional additive for feeds and rations. Recommended for all species, categories, all ages and physiological state of animals (birds, bovines, pigs, rabbits and pets).

Zeolitec is an enhanced mixture of “zeolitas” natural minerals, clinoptilolite based. These clay particles have a structure similar to a cage, composed of tetrahedral of SiO4 and AIO4 united by shared oxygen atoms. The negative charges of the AIO4 units are balanced by the presence of exchangeable cations, calcium, magnesium, potassium and iron. Ions can be displaced by other substances such as: heavy metals, and ammonium ions. This phenomenon is known as cationic exchange capacity and it’s this property that characterizes Zeolitec as an excellent astringent and ammonia odor sensor (in animal excrements, specially pets and pisciculture).

Recommended use: as binder and free-flowing astringent in dry foods for animals.

3-5 kg/ton of food for all species (proportionally to the desired effect).
